PBBUDS - Peers Building Bridges to Unite Diverse Students

Interact has proposed a new long term service project. In this program, Interact members would each be paired with a troubled middle school student and meet with the individual weekly. At the end of each month, all participants would get together and have a fun and safe gathering. With this peer to peer program, the younger student would have a older friend who he/she can trust and receive guidance.

The current members are very excited to start this new program. However, the planning and executing are still in process. If anyone has ideas, suggestions, or information about other similar programs, feel free to email us at pioneerinteract@gmail.com or leave a comment.

Community Service

Interact volunteers in many different aspects of Ann Arbor community.

Interact members have volunteered:
  • at Lawton Elementary School for Marketing Days,
  • at Lawton Elementary School for International Night,
  • by planting trees with the Rotary,
  • by cooking at Ronald Mcdonald House,
  • by helping young children at Hands-On Museum,
  • and other events.
As the year passes, Interact members continuously volunteer with more new and exciting projects.
