Charter Presentation

Ronald McDonald

On Sunday, January 8, 2005, Pioneer Interact went to Ronald McDonald to prepare food for the families staying there! Jeany, Helen, Remi, Shirley C, Shirley W, Tina, and Jessica made chili and pudding, and cut up fruits and bread. We arrived at 4pm and served dinner at 6pm. We cleaned up after 7pm and left by 7:30pm. It was a fun event right before school began the next day. :)

Board Meeting Minutes--Online Chat, December 27th, 2005

*Members of board present at online chat: Jeany, Helen, Jessica, Tricia, Shirley

*Goal for today: decide on dinner menu for January 8th volunteer meal @ Ronald McDonald House...

*Final determined menu:

• Entree--Chili (buy in large cans @ Sam's Club)
  
• Fruit--cut up assortion of fruit in some sort of large container (apples, grapes, cantaloupe, oranges)
  
• Dessert--Jell-O (buy in large mix packets)
  
• Bread--long baguettes (at least 6)
  

- Silverware will be supplied by the kitchen, as well as drinks (water/lemonade)

*An IMPORTANT request for members who signed up for the event: it would be a lovely and gratifying thing if you guys who are planning to go could bring FRUIT to Jeany's house on Saturday morning, January 7th (she sent an email out with her address on it). Any sort of fruit able to be cut up or split into pieces is appreciated, as we are depending on our rather limited budget at this time. The other food stuffs will be shopped for...

*DON'T FORGET: SUNDAY, JANUARY 8TH, MEET AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE at approximately 4pm...we will need that 2-hour chunk of time to prepare and cook away, though it should be relatively uncomplicated. FUN TIMES AHEAD, YOU ALL PREPARE FOR IT!!
