Board Meeting Minutes, February 7th, 2006

* Shirley: - Ushering for Wild Swan Theater @ Morris Lawrence Building (of Washtenaw Community College)--this weekend and next weekend (more likely to happen)
- St. Vincent DePaul thrift store volunteering
- Heartland Hospice volunteering
(Call ushering, thrift store for information/times, get interest in hospice work before contacting them)
* Brandt: - Rotary lunch on March 15: group of up to 10 members have lunch with weekly Rotary lunch meeting, give an update on what's what this year. Brief presentation ideas: walk thru the Interact website? Turn it into a PowerPoint?
(Make sure there's a wireless connection to go online for website presentation)
* Jeany: - Need long-term goals!! Brainstorm!! (So far, suggested an ecological project around Pioneer--adopt a plot, make it beautiful, etc.)
- Marketing Day @ Lawton: every first Tuesday of each month, 2 people)
* Next board meeting: FEBRUARY 21 (two weeks)
* REMINDER: those of you who showed interest in the 9th grade orientation table on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, arrive at 6:45pm in the large gym. There'll be a table there, and Helen's going for sure (confirm Tricia/Ali) Helen's going to try to take pics for the yearbook.
